Bagapsh invited Russia to deploy in Abkhazia radar

Abkhazia invites Russia to host radar installation. This was stated at a press conference in Moscow head of the unrecognized republic of Abkhazia, Sergei Bagapsh, explaining that such a measure could be retaliatory step on Tbilisi plans for the deployment of an American aircraft in its territory.
"Georgia is a state of hostility towards us, in fact, a country that has been preparing to go to war with Abkhazia. And of the United States radar station on the territory of Georgia will be directed against Abkhazia. Therefore, we have offered to make Russia a similar station in Sukhumi, "he said. Bagapsh emphasized that the station is already in place, and there needs only to restore. "
"If someone does not comply with Istanbul agreement and its promises to disarm and the ABM Treaty, why should Russia do not do this," said Bagapsh.
