
The Russian side checks the information of the decision to transfer the sole prisoner citizen Ravil Mingazov from prison for prisoners of war at the United States base at Guantanamo Bay back to Russia. Like other prisoners of war, Ravil Mingazov was at Guantanamo in the fall of 2001 at the time of the U.S. military operations in Afghanistan against the Taliban regime.
